Why Choose the Sentry 102?
The Sentry 102 is designed for homes where water quality may be affected by sediment, taste, odour or biological contamination. It is especially useful for rainwater systems where roof, gutter, bird, possum or livestock-related contamination may be a concern.
The system combines two 10" Jumbo Big Blue filter housings with a high-intensity UV lamp to provide both physical filtration and ultraviolet treatment in one compact, wall-mounted unit.
Because the unit comes fully assembled, installation is simpler than building a filter and UV system from separate components.
Filtration and UV Protection
Water first passes through filtration stages to reduce larger particles and finer sediment before entering the UV chamber. The UV stage then exposes the water to ultraviolet light to inactivate microorganisms such as E. coli, Cryptosporidium, Campylobacter and Giardia.
UV treatment does not add chemicals to the water and does not change water taste, smell or chemistry.
