DriveCharge™ EV – Base is a mobile energy system designed for rural, off-grid, and emergency scenarios where traditional EV charging infrastructure is unavailable. It combines vehicle alternator charging, portable battery storage, and controlled AC output to provide a practical way to add EV range and power essential loads — without fixed electrical wiring.
This system is not intended to replace a home EV charger. Instead, it provides a flexible, portable solution for slow, controlled EV charging and general-purpose backup power when grid access is limited or unavailable.

How DriveCharge™ EV Works

Charge while driving:
The EcoFlow 800W Alternator Charger converts vehicle alternator output into stored energy inside the DELTA Pro 3.

Charge from EV infrastructure:
Use the EV X-Stream Adapter to recharge the DELTA Pro 3 from public or private Type 2 AC EV charging stations.

Charge your EV (slow, controlled):
Use the included portable EV charger to supply AC power from the DELTA Pro 3 to your EV when required.
This staged approach prioritises flexibility and safety over speed and avoids the need for fixed wiring or permanent EV charging installations.

Installation & Setup
This system does not require any fixed house wiring or a licensed electrician.
The EcoFlow 800W Alternator Charger must be installed into a vehicle’s electrical system. Installation may be carried out by an auto-electrician or a competent installer, depending on vehicle type and user experience.
Once installed, the DELTA Pro 3 remains fully portable and can be removed from the vehicle when not required.

Can this replace a home EV charger?
No. DriveCharge™ EV is designed for slow, controlled charging in off-grid or emergency scenarios. It is not a substitute for a fixed home EV charger.
Is a portable EV charger included?
Yes. A portable EV charger (Type 2, 230V, 8A / 10A) is included as standard.
Does this require professional installation?
Only the vehicle alternator charger requires installation. No fixed electrical or house wiring is required.
Can I upgrade EV charging speed later?
Higher-capacity EV charging options may be added to the DriveCharge™ range as compatible products become available.
What else can the DELTA Pro 3 power?
Fridges, freezers, communications, lighting, tools, and essential household loads during outages or off-grid use.
Will my order arrive in one delivery?
Not always. DriveCharge™ systems are made up of multiple large components which may ship from different warehouses. Your order may arrive in separate consignments and at different times. Tracking details will be provided for each shipment where applicable.
