No. Adding Extra Batteries increases total energy storage (Wh), not charging speed. The EcoFlow Alternator Charger continues to charge the system at up to 800W. With more stored energy available, you simply gain longer runtime and greater outage resilience.
The EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max supports up to two EcoFlow Extra Batteries, giving a total usable capacity of approximately 6144Wh. This Extended Runtime system represents the maximum expandable configuration available for the DELTA 2 Max platform.
Professional installation is not mandatory. The EcoFlow Alternator Charger includes clear instructions and wiring diagrams, and many mechanically minded customers choose to install it themselves. Alternatively, a local auto electrician can assist.
