Description

Full-gas 600mm freestanding stove with 4-burner gas cooktop, 70L gas oven, grill and rotisserie – a practical choice for off-grid homes, cabins and LPG kitchens

Parmco FS 600-GAS GAS 600mm Freestanding Full Gas Stove – Stainless Steel

The Parmco FS 600-GAS GAS combines a gas cooktop and gas oven in a practical 600mm freestanding stove, making it an excellent option for homes where LPG or Natural Gas is preferred over high-demand electric cooking.

With a 70 litre usable oven capacity, gas cooktop, grill and rotisserie function, the FS 600 provides everyday cooking flexibility while keeping electrical demand low – particularly useful for off-grid homes, cabins, baches, tiny homes and rural properties.

Full Gas Cooking 600mm Freestanding 70L Gas Oven Gas Cooktop LPG or Natural Gas Flame Failure Protection

🔥 Full Gas Cooking

Both the cooktop and oven operate on gas, providing a practical alternative to high-demand electric cooking – especially useful for off-grid and solar-powered homes.

🍳 Gas Cooktop

Cook with the instant response and simple heat control of gas, with multiple burners providing flexibility for everyday meal preparation.

🍗 70L Gas Oven

A generous 70 litre usable oven gives you plenty of room for everyday baking and roasting without relying on a high-powered electric oven.

🏕️ Off-Grid Friendly

Using gas for both the cooktop and oven significantly reduces the electrical load associated with cooking, making this stove particularly attractive for off-grid properties.

🔥 Full Gas Cooktop & Oven

Unlike many freestanding stoves that combine a gas cooktop with an electric oven, the FS 600-GAS GAS uses gas for both cooking surfaces and the oven.

For an off-grid home this can be a major advantage. Electric ovens and cooktops can place substantial loads on an inverter and battery system, whereas the Parmco allows the majority of your cooking energy to come from LPG.

A 10A electrical outlet is still required for the stove's electrical functions, but the cooking heat itself is provided by gas.

🍳 Gas Cooktop

The integrated gas cooktop provides responsive heat control for everyday cooking, allowing you to adjust the flame immediately rather than waiting for an electric element to heat or cool.

Flame-failure protection provides an additional level of safety by shutting off the gas supply if a burner flame is accidentally extinguished.

🍗 70L Gas Oven

The oven provides a generous 70 litre usable capacity and four cooking functions:

  • Bottom Bake
  • Grill
  • Rotisserie Grill
  • Oven Light

A triple-glazed oven door helps retain heat while the rotisserie function provides another useful option for roasting meat and poultry.

🏕️ Why Choose Full Gas for an Off-Grid Home?

Cooking is often one of the largest short-term electrical loads in a home. Electric ovens and induction cooktops can require substantial inverter capacity and draw heavily from batteries.

Using LPG for cooking can reduce those peak electrical loads considerably, allowing an off-grid electrical system to concentrate on refrigeration, lighting, pumps, electronics and other household requirements.

This makes the FS 600-GAS GAS particularly worth considering when designing a new off-grid kitchen or reducing the electrical demand of an existing system.

🔥 Natural Gas & LPG

The Parmco FS 600-GAS GAS is suitable for use with Natural Gas or LPG.

All new Parmco gas appliances are supplied with an LPG conversion kit in the box. If the stove is being installed for LPG use, the supplied conversion components must be fitted and the appliance correctly commissioned by a suitably qualified gasfitter at the time of installation.

Gas hoses and connecting pipework are not supplied and should be selected by your installer to suit the individual installation.

If you need assistance sourcing suitable gas connection components, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.

🔧 Installation

The FS 600-GAS GAS is a fixed gas appliance and must be installed and commissioned by a suitably qualified gasfitter in accordance with Parmco's installation instructions and applicable regulations.

Always refer to the manufacturer's installation documentation for gas supply requirements, ventilation, clearances and positioning before installation.

A 10A electrical outlet is normally used for the stove's electrical functions and automatic ignition. However, if electricity is unavailable, the gas burners and oven can be manually lit using a suitable long match or gas lighter, allowing you to continue cooking during a power outage.

Please note: This model does not have a utility/storage drawer beneath the oven.

🏡 Perfect For

  • Off-grid homes
  • Solar-powered homes
  • Rural properties
  • Cabins and baches
  • Tiny homes with space for a 600mm freestanding stove
  • Homes already using LPG for hot water or heating
  • Anyone wanting to avoid the high electrical demand of an electric oven and cooktop
