The AmbiPower® 280e is a Low GWP (Global Warming Potential) R290 refrigerant 280 litre Heat Pump water heater that is a great replacement for a traditional water heater.   The innovative AmbiPower range of Heat Pump water heaters has welcomed a new, affordable era of water heating to New Zealand. Rather than using the traditional methods of electricity or gas to heat your home’s water, the AmbiPower – a heat pump water heater – utilises heat from the surrounding air. As there is always heat in the atmosphere which can be used, the AmbiPower provides a reliable, efficient, and sustainable way to reduce your water heating energy consumption that doesn’t rely on direct sunlight to operate.
